“...we are parts of the work of art....we are the words; we are the music; we are the thing itself.”                                                                                                                                                                                            - Virginia Woolf

Collective Trauma

There is no time like the present to explore therapy.  Although all therapists have moved to online platforms as we practice social distancing, in some ways this is a perfect time to engage a therapist.  All of the trappings of our busy lives have been stripped away.  Now we can see who and what is really important.

Intrusive thoughts, out-of-body experiences, nightmares.  When a person has experienced a traumatic event it is essential that they get debriefed as soon as possible.   We need to talk about it.  Don't hesitate.  And it is never too late to talk about it.  Even years later, talking can make all the difference not only to you, but your children and your children's children.
